MKE #1 – Week 30 – Understanding Is Important
Congratulations, I’m a BLUE
I laugh at the world and laugh with joy at uncovering for myself, by honoring myself in knowing my initial color was off base to who I feel I am and how I operate from my core.
After committing myself to the idea and the intuitive knowing that I needed to retake my test, this Blue result sent a ping into my heart because I resonated with the words and description that I feel is so much more like me.
As you can read below, the need to be understood is important for me. This makes me laugh and smile because we are all unique and blessed by so much wonderful inherent goodness and I love learning and offering out to others, the proven paths to the gateways of our minds; so that we to gain the understanding and the ability to assist others to blossom into their highest, greatest selves. If I desire deeper self love and appreciation I must know thy self. We truly are all unique and special because added to the core color are all the other colors at differing levels, and I’ve come to understand that no two people’s colors are exactly the same, there are many hues. This explains to me why people are not exactly the same. Yet I have witnessed that the dominant individual colors can be in close relation. I say we are all ONE Lovely RAINBOW Tribe. Learning to respect each persons individuality has been a great key to my happiness and well being.
I’ve been exploring personality traits since my children were very young and it has served well in assisting me to build a deeper connection and understanding to my kids, A partner and any other close or professional relationships I may have. It for me, has become a necessity tool for understanding people in general. Color tests have been around a long time, The ancient greeks used them and used words difficult for people to relate to now a days. Coleric (red) Plagmatic (yellow) melancholy (green) Sanguine (Blue) These words were my first introduction not inherent personality traits. I find them a great gateway for many of us to gain an understanding in the personality of ourselves and those around us. We can operate out of the positive/strengths or negative/weakness side of our color profile . Other tests I have done carry different colors, systems and even animal representations to the personality traits , yet bottom line is that they lead us to our core modes of operation and allow us to get to know our inherent strengths and weaknesses. Being aware of one’s color profile has aided me in being tolerant of others. I know that just because someone may not do something that I might do, that they are not doing differently to annoy me. I witness so much annoyance between individuals because they may not have the understanding to know and appreciate the color differences. Each of us has the gift of who we are to share and that is exciting!
So for a general look at myself, I am Blue and I resonate with almost all of what is written on my profile breakdown. I know my other secondary colors affect my responses to life even more and although I know what they are, I have not done the assessment on this site we used to determine our color. For instance and from my experience, I might be blue red or blue yellow or blue white or be balanced in three with one dominant color or even even balanced within all four. I also believe we can choose to do things like other colors that are positive and strength filled traits. After all, at some level, I’ve learned that all the colors tendencies are in me. It might take some practice to do things more like another color that you want to be effective in, yet I have learned from doing the MKE that I can be what I will to be and also that I am in charge of what I allow my blueprint to adopt. I am the guard at the gate of my mind.
I love knowing these inherent tendencies and how they show up more or less for us based in our unique makeup or modes of operandi. lol Have fun with it. Try not to take yourself or others too seriously and most of all, May I suggest to love and embrace fully who you are.
Congratulations, I’m A BLUE…
MOTIVE [ Intimacy ]
Blues are motivated by Intimacy. They seek to genuinely connect with others, and need to be understood and appreciated. Everything they do is quality-based. They are loyal friends, employers, and employees. Whatever or whomever they commit to is their sole (and soul) focus. They love to serve and give of themselves freely in order to nurture others’ lives.
Blues have distinct preferences and have the most controlling personality. Their personal code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. They enjoy sharing meaningful moments in conversation as well as paying close attention to special life events (e.g. birthdays and anniversaries). Blues are dependable, thoughtful, and analytical; but can also be self-righteous, worry-prone, and moody. They are “sainted pit-bulls” who never let go of something or someone once they are committed. When you deal with a BLUE, be sincere and make a genuine effort to understand and appreciate them.
